1. What We Are

LanceIQ connects your Shopify store to ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce), India's open commerce network. This policy explains what data we collect when you install and use the app, how we use it, and how we protect it.

2. Data We Collect from Your Shopify Store

When you install LanceIQ, we request access to your Shopify store through Shopify's OAuth flow. We collect:

Product information — titles, descriptions, prices, images, and inventory — to list your catalog on ONDC.
Order information — order details, buyer shipping address, and order status — so we can route ONDC orders back to your Shopify dashboard.
Shop information — store name, currency, and timezone — to configure your ONDC seller profile.
Webhooks — we subscribe to Shopify order and product events so your catalog and orders stay in sync automatically.

We only request the Shopify permissions needed to make the app work. We do not access your customer payment information, Shopify Payments data, or any data outside the scopes listed above.

3. How We Use Your Data

To publish your product catalog to ONDC so buyers on apps like Paytm, Magicpin, and Meesho can discover your products.
To receive orders placed on ONDC and create the corresponding order in your Shopify dashboard.
To route each order through ONDC's delivery network and update the order status in Shopify.
To send you onboarding and support communications related to your LanceIQ account.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in Section 4.

4. Data Shared with Third Parties

Running the service requires us to share certain data with the following:

ONDC network — your product catalog (name, price, description, images) is published to the ONDC network and becomes discoverable by buyers on ONDC buyer apps. This is the core function of the service.
ONDC logistics providers — when an order is placed, the buyer's delivery address and order details are shared with the delivery provider assigned through the ONDC logistics network to fulfil the order.
Supabase — our database provider, used to store your account and sync data securely.
Vercel — our hosting provider, where the application runs.

All third-party providers are bound by their own data protection terms.

5. Data Retention

We retain your store and order data for as long as your LanceIQ account is active. If you uninstall the app, we delete your store data within 30 days. You can request early deletion by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about your store, request corrections, or request deletion. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at deepmishra1283@gmail.com and we will respond within 2 business days.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or through the Shopify app before the changes take effect. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent update.
